In light of the 100th anniversary of the racist decimation of “Black Wall Street" in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ockemia Bean explored historical and modern wealth thresholds for Blacks / African Americans, leading to perceived threat or bias.  Her interdisciplinary study aims to fill a gap in the literature by testing an un-researched inclination that “black wealth” is an aversive concept to white and perhaps also to black Americans.
