Login to Platform

To find hands-on Discovery opportunities at and beyond Berkeley

1. Go to the shared Berkeley Discovery Opportunities Platform / MyBerkeley Alumni Portal login page.

2. Sign in with your CalNet credentials and complete your MyBerkeley alumni networking profile if prompted.

3. Open the top‑left menu and select Berkeley Discovery.

4. Land on the opportunities home page; for the full list, click the Experiential Learning tab.

What is the Discovery Opportunities Platform?

The Discovery Opportunities Platform is UC Berkeley’s centralized search engine for our 33k undergraduates to search for research, internships, and/or scholarships in and beyond the classroom.

How do I search the Discovery Opportunities Platform?

You can search the platform in three key ways by:

1) Entering interests into the search bar:

Identify topics of interest and brainstorm keywords to search. Enter keywords into the search bar above to explore opportunities in all categories related to your interests. As we’re still in the pilot phase, searching the broadest and simplest terms will provide more results.
