College of L&S, Ethnic Studies (Pablo) Social Welfare (Rosa)
In collaboration with the Public Service Center, Rosa and Pablo have co-founded an Alternative Spring Break service project to Puerto Rico including an unprecendent DeCal course that explores questions of culture, history, and politics. Their work has laid the groundwork for a 10 year campus commitment to the project - work that not only engages in students in service but also brings great campus visibility to the colonial realities lived by the people of Puerto Rico.
