Tessa Rissacher's research helps to tell the story of Rainbow Sign, a pioneering Black cultural center in 1970s Berkeley. Her project began as a part of a course and public website offerred by Professor Scott Saul on the Bay Area in the 1970s. Passionate to continue studying Rainbow Sign, she went on to write two honors theses on the topic, one in each of her majors.
