The B.S. degree in Business Administration(link is external) offered by the Haas School of Business develops leaders with the knowledge and technical skills necessary to understand the modern business world, to achieve the highest levels of success in their professional careers, and to prepare for subsequent graduate work. Coursework is fully integrated with UC Berkeley’s liberal arts curriculum, resulting in graduates who draw upon their knowledge of the arts and sciences as well as business in their endeavors.

Curriculum

Students can study business administration as a stand-alone degree, with a global business focus, or as a simultaneous degree with engineering or biology. Choose from:

What Can I Do With My Degree?

There are countless rewarding career paths including the well blazed trails of the traditional ABC’s (Accounting, Banking, and Consulting) and the ever evolving emprise of entrepreneurship. A Haas degree will allow you to explore every spectacular possibility of success and provide you with the tools, skills and connections necessary to impact change.

The Haas Undergraduate Program provides career advising services(link is external) to students through two career counselors. Our counselors offer their insights and experience regarding a flexible range of career questions, including but not limited to resume development, interview skills, job negotiations, and much more. Students can also access services from Berkeley Career Engagement(link is external), including career and graduate school advising, job and internship listings, and career and graduate school fairs.

Undergraduate Advising

Prospective students can speak with a Haas Admissions Representative via in-person, drop-in advising at S460 Haas School of Business or by virtual appointment. Visit haas.berkeley.edu/undergrad/admissions/events-and-advising(link is external) or email uginfo@haas.berkeley.edu(link sends e-mail).

Students currently in the Business Administration major can meet with a Haas Academic Advisor in-person to discuss academic progress, questions about courses, and how to maximize your time at Berkeley. We encourage all students to participate in international education programs to broaden their education and develop a global business view. Schedule an academic advising appointment in your first Haas semester(link is external) about studying abroad.
