- CalLink(link is external): CalLink is the online central hub for Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) at UC Berkeley. You can find student clubs(link is external) (RSOs) by searching categories such as “Arts Student Organizations” or by cultural identity, attend club events via CalLink calendar(link is external) or look for position announcements in the News section(link is external).
- Calapalooza(link is external): Each semester starts with Calapalooza, a student involvement fair featuring UC Berkeley’s 1,200+ registered student organizations (RSOs), 60 sororities & fraternities (CalGreeks) and student government groups (ASUC and Graduate Assembly). You can also catch many of these groups tabling at Sproul Plaza across the school year.
- Fraternity & Sorority Life(link is external): Get involved with the CalGreeks community (one of 55+ local, national, and international fraternities and sororities). Join a fraternity or sorority chapter(link is external) as members take leadership roles with their chapter or with the larger CalGreeks community.
- Student Environmental Resource Center (SERC):(link is external) Brings together the sustainability community. and provides resources for students to actualize their visions for a more equitable, socially just and resilient future. You can find a SERC program(link is external) or join an eco-organization(link is external) (student environmental and sustainability organizations).
- ASUC (Associated Students University of California)(link is external): Student representatives, officials, and staff serve and advocate for the UC’s diverse student populations. You can join the ASUC by looking for open positions(link is external) or reviewing resources for election(link is external).
- DeCal Program(link is external): UC Berkeley offers student-run courses on a variety of subjects, many of which are not addressed in the traditional curriculum. You can start your own DeCal course(link is external), receive training in facilitating DeCals(link is external) or join the DeCal Board Internship to manage the courses (check DeCal course schedule(link is external) to register).
- Berkeley Student Leadership Academy(link is external): Complete a training workshop series that helps undergraduate students develop leadership competencies. Participants receive a certificate and access to mentorship and networking opportunities.

- Lead a student club: Registering a student club gives your club access to funding, spaces, a Berkeley web address and more. - Get funding for your club(link is external): RSOs can apply for allocation of ASUC funds and fundraise, collect dues, find sponsors and apply for grants. A few key grants for student organizations include the Student Opportunity Fund(link is external), Big C Fund(link is external), CACSSF Discretionary Fund(link is external) and Wellness Fund(link is external).
- Advocate for student needs: There are many ways for students to have a voice on campus including joining ASUC commissions and committees(link is external) like the Disabled Students Commission and Mental Health Commission, being a student representative on UC Berkeley governing committees(link is external) and participating in campus Thriving Initiatives(link is external) including the African American Thriving Initiative and Latinx Thriving Initiative.
